Platform Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with 5+ years experience to join our growing team. This is a high visibility role with room to accelerate within the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Write core back-end infrastructure to help build and maintain the reference implementation of the Tupelo protocol

  • Design and refine core protocol concepts like incentive mechanisms and consensus algorithms

  • Help build and manage the open source community around Tupelo by reviewing external bug reports, feature proposals, and pull requests

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct experience building production software

  • Enthusiastic self-starter

  • Strong communicator able to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Able to understand (or committed willingness to learn) distributed ledger concepts.

Bonus:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related subject

  • Experience working in small distributed teams

  • Interest or experience in distributed ledger technology or blockchains

  • Experience writing secure and scalable Rust and/or Go programs

  • Experience building distributed systems at scale

  • Affection for puns (or at least a strong tolerance)

Developer Community Manager
We are looking for an experienced Developer Community Manager with 4+ years experience to join our growing team. This is a high visibility role with room to accelerate within the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Help build and support a large community of developers on the Tupelo platform.

  • Partner with developers to understand their business and provide direction and support to help them unlock the full platform potential.

  • Influence and lead external development communities to extend our reach and participation in the DLT/Blockchain space.

  • Advocate for the community internally to help drive business and product decisions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of direct experience working in a developer-facing role.

  • Enthusiastic self-starter

  • Strong communicator able to collaborate cross-functionally and autonomously with partners.

  • Able to understand (or committed willingness to learn) high-level DLT framework/details.

Bonus:

  • Experience working with developers from a variety of industries

  • Experience working in small, distributed teams

  • Interest or experience in DLT, Blockchain or Crypto
